Quinton Naughton

Quinton Naughton (he/they) is a Toronto based musical director, composer, arranger and educator. They have been the resident music director at “TYT Theatre” since 2019 where they have worked on A Peter Rabbit Tale, Pinkalicious, The Rainbow Fish Musical, A Year With Frog and Toad, The Princess and the Pea Panto, Elephant and Piggie’s We’re In A Play, Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus, Rapunzel, and Cinderella. They have also been the resident at  Small But Mighty Productions since 2015 collaborating on Til Death Do Us Part (Co-composer, arranger, Music Director), Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens, Villains Cabaret, Love You To Death Cabaret and the upcoming Love You To Death with an all new, original score; and at Rebecca Perry Productions since 2013 developing 007: The Music of James Bond (Touring), From Judy to Bette: The Stars of Old Hollywood (NSTF 2016, Edinburgh Fringe,Canadian Tour), Confessions of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl (Edinburgh Fringe, Springworks,  Soulofest, Toronto Fringe ‘14, Rose Theatre), Adventures of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl (Toronto Fringe ‘15, Rose Theatre). Other credits include: Songs for a New World, Urinetown, Heathers and In The Heights (We Are Here), Sister Act, Little Mermaid, Avenue Q (Assistant Music Director) (Lower Ossington Theatre), six cabarets at 120 Diner (now Mandy’s Bistro). At the Toronto Fringe they have also worked on productions of: Mannequin Girl, and Kander and Ebb. This year is their tenth year teaching in varying capacities around the city.
