Acting & Performance (Previously “Theatre Performance”)
This course is designed to inspire and build confidence through the world of acting and performance. Students will study a variety of techniques to develop their acting and performance skills. Whether you dream of being on a Mirvish stage, auditioning for your school play, or simply want to enhance your communication skills, confidence, and creativity, this class is the place for you! *All students are welcome to register - we do not hold entrance auditions.
Ages: Grades 5-6 & 7-8 Length: 60 minutes
September 2023 - June 2024
Term 1: September to December
Students will work to perfect their acting skills and techniques while creating a short piece for an open house class in December.
Term 2: January to June
Explore, learn, and rehearse a full play to be performed for a live audience in one of our theatres with costumes, lights, and set.
