Megan Doig

Megan has been dancing for over 18 years. Her passion for dance sparked very early when she was introduced to ballet, modern and tap while growing up in Scotland. Megan moved to Canada at the age of 8, and studied at the Contemporary School of Dance. There she completed all levels in her Ballet, Tap and Jazz training - achieving the Advanced 2 Level in Tap and Jazz through the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) and the Grade 8 Award and Advanced 2 Ballet exams through the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance). Megan was the first recipient of the CSD Spirit Award in 2017. She has received her Associate teaching status in tap with the ISTD and her Associate status in Freestyle with the BATD.

Her dance experience includes working with: KW Symphony Orchestra, KW Chamber Orchestra, Ballet Jorgen, The Singer’s Theatre, The Original Harlem Globetrotters, Robert C. Kelly-Gardyne Theatre, RAD Dance Challenge, Toronto International Youth Dance Festival, among other local work.

Megan is a graduate of the Randolph College program.
