Jaimee Leggett
Jaimee Leggett is a dance artist originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, now based in Tkaronto/Toronto. A graduate of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, she is currently pursuing a BA in Liberal Studies from Queen’s University. Alongside her performance work, Jaimee teaches young dancers and works as a freelance choreographer.
Since 2014, she has taught dancers of all ages and abilities in both Regina and Toronto, delivering training in RAD ballet exam preparation, acro, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. Her own training included programs at Canada’s National Ballet School and the Alberta Ballet School.
Jaimee has had the privilege of working with notable artists including Sharon B. Moore, Hanna Kiel, Darryl Tracy, Riley Sims, Michael Caldwell, Pulga Muchochoma, Heidi Strauss, Colleen Snell, and Alyssa Martin, among others. She has performed in SummerWorks, GarageTO, Toes for Dance’s Common Ground Festival, and with Frog in Hand’s summer company as both a dancer and clown.
