Ellie Ellwand

Ellie Ellwand was born in Toronto and began acting professionally as a child playing series leads in animated children shows such as Busytown Mysteries and Super Why (CBC Kids). She continues to work in theater, film and TV.

Theater credits include The Seagull (Soulpepper), What I Call Her (Crow’s), Calpurnia (National Arts Centre). FIlm roles include Accused (Fox), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), The Comey Rule (CBS). She plays lead and supporting roles in upcoming films Margo’s Masterpiece and Surfacing, both to be released next year.

She is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada’s Acting program.
