Broadway Stars
Broadway Stars is an exciting introductory program designed specifically for young performers aged 8 to 10, who are eager to explore the magical world of musical theatre. Through fun and interactive activities, Broadway Stars will learn the basic principles of each discipline: an introduction to jazz dance, singing as a part of an ensemble, and bringing emotion, narrative, and characters to life by acting through song, laying a solid foundation for future growth and development in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Ages: 8, 9, or 10 years old as of December 31st, 2024.
Class Length: 90 minutes
Class Time: Tuesdays, 6:00pm-7:30pm

Apply their newfound skills and talents in an enriching final showcase performance, demonstrating their growth and creativity on stage
Program Highlights:
Foundational Skills: Students begins by focusing on building essential skills and techniques in dance, singing, and acting.
Ensemble Singing: Students will learn how to blend their voices harmoniously with others, developing confidence and teamwork skills along the way.
Acting Through Song: Students will learn how to convey emotions and narrative through song, using imaginative exercises, and creative exploration.
Introduction to Jazz Dance: Students will learn the basic principles of jazz dance, improving their strength, coordination, and musicality, while honing their ability to express themselves through movement.
Year-end Showcase: Throughout the program, students will work towards a final Showcase performance on stage. This culminating event will allow them to apply their newfound skills and talents in a supportive and celebratory environment, showcasing their achievements to family and friends.
